somthing came up in my head , u said that they take hesxes for 33% of the time only. wastrels worry at 16 domination is quite tasty. energy managment = not worked out yet.

wastrels worry ment to last 3 secs but only 1 with a worm.

it's 5 energy 1/4 sec cast 1 sec recharge , just got to get some energy managment.

I don't know; Wastrel's says "After 3 seconds, target foe takes 8-53 damage. Wastrel's Worry ends prematurely if that foe uses a skill."

Ending it early results in no damage. If it ends before 3 seconds are up it probably deals no damage.
Parasitic Bond or Phantom Pain however will heal you/cause a deep wound faster.

I recall players saying that having a Denravi helm will cause a WW to still deal its damage even though it reduces the duration to 1.5 seconds. Then again, if you CoP a Lightning Surge it doesn't deal any damage so I don't know what to believe.

I can confirm from a failed Fissure spider run last week that reduced hex time + Rastels Worry = quick death.

Used the helm to survive the Skales, forgot to switch back at the Dryders. Ouch. So yeah if you could manage the energy that would rock. But I can't see having that kind of energy to pull it off, especially not with lousy 2 regen.

By the way, I put elemental resistance in as my last skill, as was suggested. Kicks ass, because I can take out the worrisome Sand Elementals without taking much damage.

W/Me is definitely the fastest of my builds for this purpose. Less than 1 minute per worm, regardless of how many attack, since IW is gonna be focused on one at a time. Guildie gave me a +19% enchantment sword, so I gots my 36 seconds. And the Mesmer stances reduce their damage to almost nothing, so groups of 2 or 3 aren't a major issue. 81 shells and counting...

owning some wurms. I took 2 for the first time and owned them after about 2:30-3:00 minutes. then not more than 15 seconds later, another pops out. OWNED. I got 3 shells in less than 8 minutes. I LOVE KVNDOOM! YOU ARE THE GOD/GODDESS OF GUILD WARS!

Once the IDS craze is over with, I'm gonna go back to the wurms full-time. I won't start selling until I get to 250 shells, just so's I can take a screenie.

Some have asked, but I'm not selling shells at a discount, regardless of how many I have. 1k apiece, like anybody else. Why? It's not the money, it's the principle. To sell for less would be undercutting anyone else who has had to go out there and work for those shells. I don't view other farmers as "competition;" if I did I wouldn't post my builds for other people to use. I might not need the money, but other people do. If anyone else wants to undercut the standard price, that's up to them. But in the end you're just hurting yourself and everyone else, because there are a LOT of people more than willing to pay 1k apiece for the shells. I had a guy PM me in game to thank me for the build. He told me he had gotten 48 shells and sold every one. They sell themselves, and if anyone wants to haggle, it's their own loss.

I finally broke down and bought a Malinon's Shield. I'm loving it for the IW build!

I think Dolyak could be used sometimes, and sometimes not. The only other Pro for Watch Yourself is that you can run out of a battle if you need to, which may not be so useful whilst battling a Sand Elemental because even though you get the armor bonus, You still get knocked down and suffer more damage. With Dolyak even though you move 75% slower you still get the advantage with more armor, and cannot be knocked down. But both can vary in uses to be better than one another.

i think i have a good solution to the nrg management for rrastels worry, try spirit of failure and stances that dont end when using skills, not only will the worms almost always miss making you take no damage at all, youll gain back your nrg pretty fast, and sub in bonneti every so often for like 8 nrg a miss
the problem i can see with this is points in inspiration and not very effecient for taking out the other things near the worms, but when i kill worms i port back in town when the enchanted are too close to portal and juke the sword enchanted so i dont get hamstringed which is really easy if you use a speed boost skill

Not sure about the attributes but at max tactics you'd be shooting out 72 health ViMs, FGJ + Flurry + Riposte for 63 damage blocks pretty much every other attack. Whether or not it's enough defense would be the only concern I can think of, then again Desperation Blow can inflict 4 different conditions on top of Rotting Flesh... so a lot of health every 15 seconds. Might work.

Plus, 0 attribute sword builds are fun.

I'm running a pretty similar mesmer build here. Probably doesn't matter too much whether it is a necro or a mesmer but the physical resistance makes wurm hunting cake.

With this build the wurms go down in about 1 minute
I can farm pretty much anything in the desert, just make sure never to cast deadly riposte on wurms on giants as they pass the bleeding right back to you. For giants, I wouldn't try more than 3. I haven't looked at their damage without physical resistance but I wouldn't want to be without it for the 2 seconds dolyak is down.

You could probably leave sprint behind if you want since this build can kill pretty much everything. If you left sprint I would add elem resistance for the hydra boss near elona. Every other desert creature has been easy enough except for him

I forgot, zealous collectors stance sword and -2 +45 collectors or green stance shield.

I switch to grogs blade if I get blinded by anything.
